We have just sold our house and I must say that Rich Kushner is an exceptional realtor! Sleepless nights were kept to a minimum as Rich handled everything professionally. He was always available, taking care of every detail, patiently strategizing selling techniques (jointly), constantly maintaining us informed before, during, and after each requirement, interacting with the lender when necessary, and basically not leaving anything to chance. And this sale included some extenuating circumstances: potential foreclosure, uncooperative tenants, and real estate savvy buyers (brokers themselves); but Rich patiently and intelligently resolved all our issues. Rich is a great partner in your house hunt. He stuck with us for what turned out to be a 12 month process to find our home. He was never pushy, and always patient. Our situation was constrained and challenging for a real estate agent. We were living in the East Coast area while searching for a home in San Diego, CA. We could not travel to San Diego during the whole process of finding the property, negotiating with sellers about contract and other things, conducting home inspection, closing, and interior repair after closing. Everything has to be done remotely. Rich Kushner has helped us finish the challenge task beautifully. Rich Kushner had an initial remote meeting with us and took diligent notes regarding our specific needs in a condo/townhouse of medium size as well as our budgetary limitations. Then, Rich arranged virtual tours on the properties that we were interested in. We found that Rich has strong background knowledge in real estate as well as detailed knowledge in home appliances installation, property interior conditions and so on. He gave us very helpful comments and suggestions not only during searching property, but also during repairing/cleaning up the property after closing. Moreover, he was always ready to help. Despite his busy working schedule he always promptly returned our calls or emails to answer any questions we might have regarding properties that we were searching. Rich is a joy to work with. He is knowledgeable, responsive and creative with a fun and light hearted side. I was on a bit of a time crunch when I was put in touch with Rich and he arranged a very efficient couple of days of home viewings. 2012: Buying a house has it own set of challenges, when that endeavor involves the purchase of a short sale the challenges multiply. While we did not set out to purchase a distressed property that is where our selection led. Rich's knowledge, professionalism, and empathy got us through the process. His personal skills and professional assets at his disposal led us to a successful conclusion of our transaction. We would recommend him highly to anybody who needs a realtor. UPDATE 6 Years Later He Sold The Same House for us: Hoping for speedy results with a discount broker I priced my property below market expecting interest from some potential buyers. The discount broker was able to tell me how many people looked at my property on their cell phones and how many hits my property’s website received, but received not one offer. In four months they were not able to get me an offer in a market that in the previous months saw my neighbors’ listings sell in under 30 days. When my exclusive contract was up I contacted Rich Kushner who sold me the property originally. He was shocked that my property hadn’t sold at the listed price. We discussed marketing plans and Rich went to work. He changed the listing back to market value, and listed it on the MLS. Within eight days we were in a multiple offer situation, and ten days after that we were in escrow with a buyer paying our asking price. What really sets Richard apart is his attitude, work ethic, expert knowledge, and especially his communication and accessibility to the client. Throughout the entire process Richard’s demeanor was completely proactive. More importantly he went beyond the typical expectations of realtor and dealt with many of the things a seller must handle but I could not as I had already moved to Northern California. It is a very comforting feeling knowing you have someone you can trust handling your property’s sale. I unhesitatingly recommend Richard to anyone needing to buy or sell a property, he will treat as if it was his own, and he delivers.
